Feature Overview & Coming Updates

Since our new APA citation generator has gone online, thousands of students from around the world (but especially the US) have used it to generate correctly formatted APA citations for their academic papers.

We thought this would be a good time to briefly run through the features we currently offer, and the upcoming features we will release in the coming days and weeks.

Features available right now

Currently we offer the four most popular sources for your APA citations, namely:

  1. Website
  2. Book or Textbook
  3. Journal
  4. Video

You can use these free of charge and as much as you like!

Features coming in the next few days

We have a few new sources to add this week, namely:

  1. Thesis or Dissertation Paper
  2. Wikipedia Page
  3. Print Article (Newspaper, Magazine etc..)

We are also planning to automate some of the original sources, adding an auto-fill feature where users simply enter the URL of a website or Video, while we populate the remaining fields automatically. This should simplify and speed up our citation generation capabilities.

As always, we will strive to improve our service further beyond this, so over the coming weeks you can watch out for more improvements!
